If you're like me, you haven't met a cookbook you didn't like! I love to cook, and love to try out
new recipes all the time.
But the best time of all is when I get to sit down and read through a stack of cookbooks that have just
come into my possession. Especially the vintage ones. It takes you back to a slower-paced time, a time when Grandma
had time to make those wonderful Sunday meals of fried chicken and homemade bisquits...or even better, when thumbing through
Victorian era housekeeping receipt books you get a glimpse into everyday life during that era....that's when I'm in heaven!!!!
Yep, I admit it, I'm a cookbook addict! That's why I'm here. I figured that there are many out there just like
me. Maybe you collect all the various copies of "Joy of Cooking" or you just want to collect special Christmas
cookbooks. You may have a favorite cook you like...Julia Child or Rachel Ray. Perhaps you like the 50's era,
or the 40's or even 60's! We all have our little quirks and interests, and that's what makes cookbook collecting so
fun.
